WINTER TRAIL CLOSURE IN MARIÁNSKÉ ÚDOLÍ AND LIMITED OPERATION IN JEDOVNICE STARTS FROM DEC 1ST!

Strating from December 1 we are launching the winter period at Singletrail Moravský kras. Several specific rules apply for this period, please respect them thoroughly!

Mariánské údolí

The contract we have with the land owners obliges us to inform all bikers about the trail closure in winter period, as desribed in the visitor guidelines for trails in MU! Trails in Mariánské údolí will not be maintained nor monitored in the winter period from December 1 to March 15, 2019. Therefore we strongly recommend not to enter the trails during this period! Today we will distribute these information signs to respective spots in the forest:

Jedovnice

Here the situation is somewhat different. As described in the visitor guidelines: "It is forbidden to ride the trails during periods of snowing or black ice. Trails shall never be used in extreme wet weather, either." This means that the trails in Jedovnice are open even in winter (2 hours after sunrise until 2 hours before sunset) unless the weather is extremely wet, snowy or icy. At the same time it is necessary to take into account that from December to March we do not maintain nor monitor the trails so if you ride there, you need to adapt your speed to this fact! There may be many more obstacles and unexpected situations than usually in the summer season! In the winter time the Base nor the Bike Rental will not be open!

To respect these rules is the only way how to maintain good relations, which are necessary for future development of our project! So please bear that all in your mind and don't forget:
